14 May New nail range Morgan Taylor launches at Harrods
I’m in love with my nails right now, as they’ve just been painted in a vivid sea blue-green from the new Morgan Taylor nailcare range. The colour intensity has blown me away, and I’m enjoying typing more than ever today as I also get to sneak a regular peek at my perfect manicure:
Fresh from the States and landing at the Nail Loft at Harrods Urban Retreat today, this professional range is really nailing it (sorry) when it comes to colour selection, coverage and staying power – I’ve been told the colour should last for nearly a week.
There are 100 shades to choose from, with sheer, creme, glitter, metallic, pearl or shimmer finishes. My colour is called Bright Eyes. Below are some ‘nail polish biscuits’ which I snapped at the event earlier, so cute!
According to Morgan Taylor’s creative director, Alesia Lanzo, I’m bang on trend for spring/summer, as blues, greens, jades and emeralds are the gotta-have-hues. Looking further ahead, I also asked her for her predictions for autumn/winter:
“Blue continues, but in a more surprising way with bright pops of colour including cobalt,” she tells me. “Browns and opulent blacks such as blue-black, red-black, and purple-black will also be big, as will metallics – the Marc Jacobs show was a great example of metallics with texture and dimension. Jewel tones are also going metallic, as seen at Balmain.”
