22 May Vita Liberata NKD SKN
I love Vita Liberata self tanning products, but am also aware that the price point may be out of reach of some people. Which is why it’s downright fabulous that VL have just launched a ‘diffusion’ range of tanners called NKD SKN.
With prices starting at just £8.50 (compared to the original self tanners which average around the £25 mark – still worth it in my opinion), you can now achieve a Vita glow without breaking the bank.
There are three products in the new range – Tinted Tan Mousse (£14.95) in Medium or Dark; Tinted Tan Liquid (£14.95) in Dark, and Matte Wash Off Instant Tan (£8.50) in Medium or Dark. The Tantoos (above) aren’t for sale!
The tinted tan mousse and liquid both last up to 7 days and the wash off is washed off whenever you want. And in the same vein as the original range, the products have zero odour, contain natural ingredients and dry instantly.
At the launch event last night, I tried the wash off instant tan on my forearms and hands in both medium (top pic) and dark (bottom pic). I had two coats applied with a mitt.
When I got home, I thought I’d take the pictures outside in order to capture the colour in natural daylight, but in reality, both shades were a little darker than the pics suggest.
The medium shade is ideal for fairer skins or those who want a subtle glow, while the dark shade, as you can see, is the most realistic colour and perfect for that ‘I’m just back from 2 weeks in Barbados’ result.
At first I thought the dark shade was too much for me but I got used to it, and think I may just be able to get away with it for a night out.
The colour didn’t transfer onto my clothes and removal was easy; in fact I simply had a bath and it came off, no scrubbing required. Can’t wait to try the other products.
Vita Liberata NKD SKN is now available exclusively at Superdrug.
