21 Nov Sleek MakeUp new eye & cheek palettes
Sleek MakeUp is another affordable cosmetics brand that you seem to love, and I don’t blame you, as what you get for the price is pretty impressive.
Take the new Eye & Cheek Palettes and Precious Metals Highlighting Palette – good quality packaging that looks five times pricier than it actually is, suits-all shades that hold their own against the premium brands, and luxurious formulas. What’s not to like here?
I attended Sleek’s Gold press night recently, which was hosted by Xtra Factor presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford, and snapped some of the products on the makeover stand, below:
But on to the stars of the show – the Palettes! The Precious Metals Highlighting Palette (£9.99!) is truly stunning, and can be used on face or body. It includes three velvet cream formulas and one powder (Platinum, Royal Gold, Renaissance Gold and Antique Bronze) with iridescent metallic finishes; these are said to add a radiant glow and luminous polish to the skin.
Apply to the inner corners of the eyes, across the brow bone and along the tops of the cheekbones. There is a brush provided but you can also use an eyeshadow brush for precision and intensity.
Also under £10, the new Eye & Cheek Palettes (£9.99) in Dancing Til Dusk and See You At Midnight, feature shades from the bestselling i-Divine palettes and blushers. Multi-purpose and versatile, the compacts come complete with a large mirror and a double-ended applicator which is a little too pointy for my liking.
I’ve tried some of the shades and considering the cost of these palettes, the colour pay-off is very good – they’re brilliant buys if you’re on a budget, and would also make perfect Christmas presents.
