Four of the best eyeliner pencils

Four of the best eyeliner pencils

I do love a smokey eye, and there are some lovely alternatives to black around at the moment so you can choose an eyeliner shade to match your iris. Black looks great against all eye colours while blue and teal are, in my opinion, amazing paired with brown eyes. Green eyed girls should opt for dark chocolate or black.

By the way, did you know that if you have blue eyes, you share a common ancestor with every other blue-eyed person in the world, because the first person ever to have blue eyes lived between 6000 and 10,000 years ago – before then, everyone had brown eyes. Wow.

Here are four eyeliner pencils which are well worth a try, from top to bottom; No7 Stay Perfect Metallic Eyes Pencil in Blue; B. Smokey Soft, Blendable Kohl Eyeliner in Black; 17 Eye Kohl Soft Smudge Pencil in Emerald, and finally – my favourite Wild about Beauty Kajal Pencil Duo in Maeve, which I’m currently wearing to death both day and night.

I’m also rediscovering liquid eyeliners and have been experimenting with a couple for the perfect retro flick, will post my findings soon.

What’s your favourite eyeliner?
