DHC Revitalizing Moisture Strips for eyes

DHC Revitalizing Moisture Strips for eyes

I really rate Japanese brand DHC, which also happens to be Japan’s number one online skincare company. They have some interesting and innovative skin, body and hair products including facial washing powder, and I literally can’t get enough of the facial blotting papers.

The Revitalizing Moisture Strips (£6.95 for six sachets) are formulated with moisturising botanicals and are said to be ideal for hydrating, firming, brightening and refreshing the delicate under-eye area.

They’re very easy to use – apply the strips under the eyes and leave on for 20-30 minutes or overnight. They are quite big and I didn’t find them that comfortable to wear (it’s possible I applied them too close to my lashes), but hey, what price beauty?!

I left them on for around 25 minutes and was glad to get them off! I think I’ll wear them overnight next time, as then I won’t be so conscious of the way they feel.

As the ingredients absorb into the skin, there’s no residue and therefore no rinsing afterwards which I liked.

I noticed that my skin was definitely a little firmer and more hydrated – under-eye concealer went on smoothly. I expect they would also be good for taking down morning puffiness.

Don’t expect them to diffuse fine lines as they don’t – and the jury’s out on whether they made things look any brighter, although its another dull, dull day in London town!

But a great quick-fix for when you need an affordable boost for a special occasion.
