The first in a series of my favorite hairdressing salons, whether you’re looking for a classic or edgy hair style or color makeover, or whether you’re looking for shaves with Cut Throat Razors for all males I’ll be reviewing the best of the best.

The House of Rush

Who are they?
Award-winning salon group Rush have a strong signature style and are masters of precision cutting. They believe no cut is complete without the right colour application. If you’re looking for a fabulous blow-dry, ask for Tina.

Interior style
Influenced by the original Mayfair salons of the 1950s, The House of Rush offers contemporary glamour with lots of space – it’s all gilt-edged mirrors and dazzling chandeliers. Great views of bustling Piccadilly, too.

What’s on the menu
Everything you could want from a hair salon, plus the latest and best beauty treatments and brands.

Who goes there

Everyone from professionals and west end shoppers, to celebrities and press. It is a Fashion Week hangout for the press.

I’m hungry!

There is a food menu and concierge service to make sure every visit is tailored to your needs. Slice of cake, anyone?

What’s new
Check out the new beauty treatments including Sun-Believable Expert Tan, Venus Freeze anti-ageing facials and the Flawless Perfection nail bar, which does a mean Shellac manicure (tried and tested by me).
