08 May NSPA Bloom Eau De Toilette
Ever since I first smelled the iconic French fragrance Fracas by Robert Piguet, I’ve been slightly addicted to scents featuring tuberose. I can quite literally smell it a mile away and find it fresh and ultra-feminine, but also quite sexy too.
Jean Paul Gaultier Fragile and Michael Kors with their airy tuberose notes similarly seduced me, and I have worn and loved both of them at various points in my life.
If you are also a fan of floral scents and would like to try something new, not to mention considerably cheaper than the premium designer versions mentioned above, pop along to Asda (yes really), and discover Bloom, one of three exclusive new fragrances inspired by the world’s top perfumers and created by the Nirvana Spa day spa in Berkshire.
Bloom, which is far more sophisticated than it’s price tag suggests, is reminiscent of ‘blissful bouquets, fresh floras and pretty petals’, and blends rose, jasmine and tuberose with essential oil of vetiver.
The other two fragrances in the collection are Pure, which evokes fresh beach breezes, lush lillies and aquatic auras, and Orient, an Oriental scent of ornate orchids, amorous ambers and sensual silks.
At just £8 for 50ml (or 2 for £10), NSPA fragrances are definitely my beauty bargain of the month, and quite possibly the year.
NSPA fragrances are available from Asda stores nationwide.
