No7’s latest mascara, Lovely Lashes (£12.95), has a great name, don’t you think? None of that ‘pumped up’ and ‘maxed out’ business, just a simple yet effective name that makes you want to know more.

According to the brand, 65% of women claim that mascara is their no.1 daily product**. I would go along with that (although I’m cheating at the moment with my eyelash extensions).

So with this in mind, they came up with the ultimate mascara, containing argan oil and Vitamin E to condition lashes, and the ability to increase volume and length while still looking natural and not too clumpy or fake.

The widely-spaced bristle brush helps to keep the look defined yet natural – I have tried it on my bottom lashes and there are indeed no clumps whatsoever. It’s definitely perfect for that natural, daytime look.
