14 Jun NEW Fake Bake Flawless Darker Self-Tan Liquid
When they want to get their glow on, Fake Bake is the go-to brand for many celebrities. And they were out in force earlier this week for the press launch of the new self-tanning product, Flawless Darker (£25.95, 170ml).
The penthouse suite of a central London hotel was transformed into a buzzing pamper parlour, as journalists and celebs including Nicola Stapleton, Camilla Dallerup and Lydia Bright were treated to cupcakes, blow-dries, manicures, tarot card readings and of course, spray tanning by Fake Bake’s elite team of tanners.
The darkest, longest lasting tan yet, Flawless Darker contains maximum levels of organic DHA (the ingredient which tans you), plus a hard-to-pronounce ingredient (!) that helps your tan last for days.
And of course, like all Fake Bake products it smells delicious – I’ve been a fan of the brand for some time now so was first in line for a tan at the event. I had the ‘Original’ shade as I’m fair skinned and Flawless Darker would probably be a bit dark for me. According to my partner I smelled like a ‘coconut macaroon’!
Fake Bake Flawless Darker will be available within the next few days (so I’m told) from www.fakebake.co.uk, John Lewis, Superdrug and Boots. It comes complete with a professional mitt and gloves for flawless results.

Posted at 18:34h, 14 JuneYes, although practice does make perfect, and I would always recommend using a mitt as this gives the best results, plus you won’t have tell-tale brown hands! I’m going to do a ‘how-to’ apply fake tan very soon so watch this space! 🙂
