Searching for a mascara that boosts lash volume and thickness for under £10?

Then take a look at Bourjois’ new 1 Seconde Volume Mascara (£9.99), which features a brush that takes its inspiration from professional round brushes, “brushing” lashes to create instant volume which works through to the ends of the lashes and not just the roots.

Although the wand looks fairly standard, the brand stresses its innovative qualities. The bristles alternate small wraparound spheres and straight bristles; the first envelopes the whole lash and the second defines without forming clumps.

Other features include 16 hour staying power – the waterproof version apparently lasts even longer at 24 hours – intense, ultra black colour for that false lash effect and easy removal.

Loving the sleek and sexy silver packing too, which makes it stand out from other mascaras.

I can’t really give this a comprehensive test as I still have my eyelash extensions, but thought you’d like to know about it!
