24 Feb L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil Souffle D'Or Sparkling Shampoo & Conditioner
L’Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil Souffle D’Or Sparking Shampoo (£13 for 250ml) and Conditioner (£14.35 for 190ml) may be a bit of a mouthful, but they’re also two of my favourite hair things right now.
Not only does this glamorous safflower and argan oil enriched duo possess ‘that scent,’ which I have written about before and you can read about here, but they do wonderful things to my hair and are also parabens free, which is an added bonus.
At first I thought that anything labelled ‘oil’ might be too heavy for my medium-textured, chemically processed hair. But how wrong I was – a cleansing hair oil works in a similar way to a cleansing facial oil so don’t worry if you have greasy locks.
The formula is light and thanks to the golden micro-particles (which wash away on rinsing), Sparkling Shampoo glimmers in the light and is suitable for all hair types.
You won’t see much of a lather on the first shampoo, but nevertheless it cleanses quite effortlessly (although as you can see, the quantity is going down a little faster than I’d liked), and leaves hair deliciously fragranced with ‘that scent’.
Sparkling Conditioner it also suitable for all hair types has a rather unique gel-like texture which seems to melt into the hair. It’s recommended that you leave it on for three minutes, however I leave it on for two and it works equally well.
Together they leave locks smooth, controlled, shiny and fragranced with that heady concoction – and never before have I been able to smell my own hair when going about my daily business.
