Kiss new nail products

Kiss new nail products

Firstly I want to apologise for neglecting you a little bit lately, for the past two months I’ve been working full-time as an acting editor on a magazine, it’s all very exciting but leaves me with little time to blog!

When life and work calms down a bit in August I’ll be back to blogging a few times a week, but in the meantime I hope you’ll stick with me for my occasional evening posts!

Last week I managed to squeeze in an evening event at Home House for Kiss, with a smattering of celebs and my friend and nail and beauty guru Leighton Denny.

There were loads of fab new products on show, but for now I’m going to talk about a couple – Salon Secrets Nail Art Starter Kit (£10.99 each) and the Complete Care Treatments Systems (£7.99 each).

The nail kit has all you need to create original nail art, and includes a design booklet and a step-by-step guide written by professional nail artists. It’s a great kit and ideal if you want to get creative and produce unique one-off designs on your nails.Haven’t tried it yet, but think I am going to when I get the time!

The kit also contains:

3 nail art brushes (flat, multi-art and fan)
Dotting tool
Foil tape
Pre-cut nail art sheet and design decals
Faux rhinestone sticker sheet and charms
6 HD glitter pouches
Top coat

The Complete Care Treatments are available in four systems – Cuticle Care, Repair, Strengthening and Growth, so whatever your nail issue, there’s a kit to remedy it.

My nails grow quite quickly but when they get to a certain length they sometimes split or break, so Repair is the one I need.

If your nails need daily conditioning or your cuticles are dry, you need Cuticle Care. If your nails are thin or tear easily, try Strengthening. Those with brittle nails that struggle to grow should benefit from Growth.

The Nail Art kit is available this month from Superdrug and ASDA from September; the Complete Care treatment systems are available this month from Superdrug.
