Avon Mega Effects Mascara

Avon Mega Effects Mascara

Avon’s Mega Effects Mascara (£10) has to be in the running for most unusual mascara concept and packaging, so I thought I’d tell you a bit more about it.

And according to the brand this funky mascara, which launched last summer, is one of their current best-sellers, so such innovation is obviously paying off!

The wand is not really a wand at all, more like a mini paintbrush. Avon calls it ‘The Wonderbrush.’ It provides the lashes with corner to corner coverage to give lots of definition. Love the way the ergonomic brush angles, very cool.

You use it by rocking the brush from side to side in the base, before pulling out. Then bend the brush to the desired angle and apply from root to tip.

As I am currently wearing lash extensions, I haven’t tested it as I’m not sure it’s going to be as effective on my bottom lashes as a traditional wand mascara (I could be wrong).

But as with skincare, choosing the right mascara is a personal thing – I think you need to give it a go to see if it works for you.

Have you tried it? Are you converted or do you prefer a wand?

That brush both scares and fascinates me.

Haha I think that’s probably going to be the same for most people!
